Zion Broadnax is slaying.

Zion Broadnax is an 11-year-old acting prodigy who is en route to becoming a Hollywood heavy hitter. Her budding talents were first seen in BET Network's "Holly Day" with her first lead role at the age of 7. Shortly thereafter, Zion would go on to win Best Supporting Actress in F8th, starring alongside actor and director Glenn Plummer (ER) at the 168 Films Festival. Zion has been featured everywhere from Disney, Netflix, The ABC Network, and Nick Jr. Her most recent co-starring role is alongside none other than Jamie Foxx in the upcoming action-horror-comedy film, "Day Shift".

Netflix's "Day Shift" follows Jamie Foxx as Bud Jablonski, a hardworking dad out to provide for his daughter, using his dull pool-cleaning job as a front for his real gig: hunting and killing vampires. The film is the directorial debut of J.J Perry, best known for his incredible stunt work on films such as John Wick. "Day Shift" sees Zion Broadnax as the only young actress on the project where she is undoubtedly holding her own alongside an all-star cast that includes Snoop Dog, Dave Franco, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey, and Scott Adkins.

You co-star with Jamie Foxx in “Day Shift”. What is it like for someone as young as you to be on set with one of Hollywood's greatest talents of all time? Did you feel nervous going in? did it feel a little crazy?

It was a blessing and surreal at the same time. I was very honored to work with Mr. Jamie who is so nice and keeps everyone laughing while on the set. On my first day arriving on set I was a little nervous, until after meeting everyone from the cast to the production team who all were so nice and welcoming to me make my experience that much easier where all my nervousness just went away instantly.

Without spoilers, what can you tell us about"Day Shift";? why should anyone go and watch this film?

Day Shift is out now on Netflix. Starring Mr. Jamie Foxx and Ms. Meagan Good who plays the parents of my character Paige. This film has amazing fight scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seats, directed by Mr. JJ Perry who was the stunt coordinator of John Wick movies. Vampires + comedy + action = a must see! So please check it out! (Smiling)

What do kids your age say when you tell them yo're in movies?

Honestly, I try not to tell them because I like people to get to know me for who I am instead of what I do, but if they recognize me on their own they are really excited and want to know more about how it is to be in movies.
