"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" actor Tyler Cotton discusses Season 4 and Reprising his role of 'Melvin'

The Pandemic lockdowns made people slow down, stay inside and for many of us that includes curling up on the sofa and binge watching TV. Don't feel bad celebrities do it too. Netflix's very own Tyler Cotton from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is "binge watching Supernatural right now". Tyler is playing catch up with Supernatural;it's undoubtedly because he is so busy in front of the camera. Tyler took a break to give RIVAL a glimpse of what life at home during the pandemic is like as well as what you'd catch him doing on set between takes.

Let's talk about Pandemic life…
RIVAL: During the pandemic what hobbies have you picked up?
TC: Eating more hahaha definitely lots of trips to the fridge! I mainly just started reading more.
RIVAL: What are you currently binge watching? What draws you to that story?
TC: I feel like I'm late to the game but I'm actually binge watching Supernatural right now! I'm a sucker for the brother relationship. Before that I was watching the Mandalorian which I also thought was amazing!
What about on set…
Rival: What's your go to snack or drink on set?
TC: Water!! Gotta stay hydrated…and maybe the occasional donut!
RIVAL: Between scenes do you prefer to run lines or play games/ hang out with your costars?
TC: Definitely play games/hang out with my costars! Working on Sabrina with this amazing cast was such a blessing, I enjoyed every second with each and everyone of them!

Let's talk about acting…
RIVAL: What do you love about playing the character of Melvin?
TC: Definitely the bowties!
RIVAL :Do you have a crazy audition story that you'll never forget?
TC: I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head. I know I've had a few where I've forgotten a line but nothing too crazy!
Rival: What advice would you give a new actor?
TC: Find your community! Find like minded actors that will help and support each other. This is a tough industry and it's even harder alone.

That's great advice! What about life?
RIVAL: What is your current dream? It can be anything. A particular role you dream of playing or a trip you want to take-anything.
TC: Good question! Hmmm honestly I love what I do and I really like to keep busy so I guess my dream would be to to just keep working and tackling amazing projects that I can sink my actor teeth into.
Rival: Do you have a life mantra or motto that you try to live by?
TC: Treat others the way I want to be treated!
RIVAL: At the end of your career/ life what do you hope your legacy will be?
TC: Hopefully that I made people happy. That I made people smile.

It's clear from Tyler's answers that this guy is just as bewitching as the character he plays on TV. Tyler's talent,work ethic, and thoughtfulness are evident in his answers. There should be no doubt- Tyler will be busy tackling amazing roles and making his dreams a reality.
