SoyBigDaddy is a Colombian artist who's bringing people together through her fresh take on Latin pop music. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, but moved to the United States when she was young. SoyBigDaddy takes inspiration from the late Amy Winehouse, combining Latin elements in her sound to create an unprecedented synthesis of genres that links together Latin music with modern-day trends.

SoyBigDaddy's music is a celebration of diversity and a call for acceptance. She uses her music to connect with people from all walks of life, and she's an inspiration to those who are looking to bridge the gap between cultures. SoyBigDaddy is a singer who uses her native Spanish to create music that's both soulful and vibrant. Her songs exemplify much of the beauty, diversity, and plasticity of modern Hispanic music, and they've been recognized and celebrated around the world. She's an inspiration to musicians and listeners alike, and she's performed at some of the most renowned nightclubs and day clubs in Los Angeles, such as the renowned Avalon where she headlined a reggaeton event in 2022.

SoyBigDaddy has been making an impact on Los Angeles' club scene. She has partnered with esteemed club promoter Liv The Moments, and her music is frequently heard playing at many of the top venues in LA like Bootsy Bellows, Poppy, Nightingale, Hyde, and Penthouse Dayclub.

In her quest to inspire others and create positive change, SoyBigDaddy is associated with the MF Recordz record label. Founded by Nikki Paige and Greg Hannley, MF Recordz is a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent and reach a wider audience. With the support of MF Recordz, SoyBigDaddy's music is amplified, allowing her to spread her uplifting messages around the world.

Samuel Aponte is Venezuelan-born raised and based.

I joined Rival Magazine after a few years of doing PR work for independent musicians of all stripes; understanding their struggles to be heard in a sea of constant  ADHD noise and paywalled access to platforms, I now bring a willingness to always appreciate and encourage the effort and creativity that artists put into their work.
