Moonlight Jones “I Like The Way” is Dark, Nostalgic and Romantic
Miami-based, Florida-born music veteran Moonlight Jones has been around the music scene for quite some time. Taking creativity to a whole new level, he has traveled around the world from Spain (where he mastered Flamenco guitar), Puerto Rico, Cuba and Colombia to enrich his art even further, influenced by Blues, Bluegrass, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern and Folk music. Jones is ready to blow your mind.
Looking at Jones' background, he has done a little bit of everything. He's worked for designer Kyle Cooper, mastered sound engineering, worked alongside well-know film composer Heitor Pereira at Hans Zimmer’s 'Remote Control Studios', had the opportunity to tour with the 100 Monkeys. He's headlined shows at The Viper Room, The House of Blues on Sunset, The Mint, The Whiskey A Go Go, and more.
As a producer, Jones has worked alongside The Jugernox, Scott “The Scientist'' Coslett, and Jerry “J-Strong” Armstrong. He's also joined forces with Joseph Dawson in Southern rock band 'Suthurn Swaggur', and more recently he helped establish 'Echo N Dream' alongside Claude Cajuste of Gemini All Stars and rapper Purple Gorilla. In 2021 Moonlight collaborated with Nino Valentino and Karina Iglesias to deliver his debut single “Hot Night”, defined as “Cosmic Soul”, a unique blend of Flamenco, R&B, and Rock

Moonlight Jones admits, “The song is about a man-eater who gets whatever she wants, however she wants it.”
This 80s-inspired synth-wave/Dark-wave tune feels like a missing song from Stranger Things OST. The Track was Written about a mysterious woman who catches the eye of Moonlight and puts him in a trance, the single is centered around a captivating and darkly romantic narrative.
