Breathwork is a comparatively new method to help extinguish the fires that are ablaze in our minds. She was first introduced to a breathworking class at her favorite crystal shop House of Intuition. Lilia was feeling the lowest of lows during that time in her life. She was working unhappily as an actress, she was stressed, depressed and simply overwhelmed. The breathwork class reawakened her pursuit to happiness. Lilia found her true calling. Six months after her first class she decided to pursue her career as a Breathwork Coach.

But there are a lot of biological and physiological components involved in breathworking that counteract and excel these changes to provide comfort and healing. Everybody's journey is different. There are different meditations to address certain symptoms of anxiety.
"When you are anxious, you tend to take shallow, rapid breaths from your chest, you might even start to hyperventilate. This type of breathing will increase your heart rate and create muscle tension. Your sympathetic nervous system becomes activated, creating a surge of adrenaline and cortisol in your body, alerting it to protect itself. When you shift your breathing to abdominal breathing using your diaphragm, your body enters into a relaxed state. Your parasympathetic nervous system gets activated, slowing your heart rate, which helps to reduce the feelings of anxiety. Breathwork also has mood-boosting powers helping you feel calm and relaxed. Having a daily practice of active breathing is an important component to reduce anxiety."
Lilia first developed her interest in breathworking after her first diagnosis with anxiety. Throughout her childhood, she suffered from awful stomach aches - something that she chopped up to being food allergies until proven otherwise. Her mind constantly spun webs and she started getting nervous ticks and grinding her teeth. "My body and mind were beyond stressed and it was showing me in different ways, but I didn't know that these were all manifestations of stress and anxiety."
Lilia has launched Breathwork For Anxiety. Aside from her private 1-1 consultations, this 7-day practice provides people with extra tools on how to manage their anxiety and stress on a regular basis.
