Cemetery Sun Is Bringing Light to the Darkness With Their New Single “There Is No Cure”

Sacramento band Cemetery Sun’s main goal besides delivering amazing music to their listeners is to act as a beacon of hope and positivity. Cemetery Sun represents that light at the end of a dark tunnel. The band's energetic performances and heartfelt messages inspire everyone to stay resilient in the face of challenges. By blending emotive storytelling with dynamic instrumentals, they create an uplifting experience.

Back in 2016, they garnered much attention with their alt-rock and pop-punk-infused single "Fake Love" which gained millions of streams in a short amount of time. Cemetery Sun has toured extensively, captivating audiences at major festivals like Download and So What, and sharing the stage with renowned acts like Blink 182, All Time Low, and The Score, among others.

Cemetery Sun is currently gearing up for a strong finish to 2024 with a series of new singles. Their latest release, "There Is No Cure," is a powerful blend of alt-rock and screamo that showcases their dynamic sound. The track features a captivating mix of electronic elements, aggressive guitar riffs, and thunderous drums. However, what truly catches our attention are both the powerful vocal work and the unapologetic lyrics.

While their previous single was more in the realm of pop punk, similar to Good Charlotte and Simple Plan now they've ventured into more defiant waters alongside A Day To Remember, Motionless in White, and Bring Me The Horizon.

The band also released a music video for "There Is No Cure." The video embraces a cyberpunk aesthetic, creating a dystopian world filled with vibrant colors, neon lights, and gritty industrial landscapes. This striking contrast perfectly mirrors the song's themes, immersing viewers in a visually captivating journey that ultimately explores the inescapable nature of reality.

“The more I’ve been humbled by life, it’s made me realize that I have to let go of any ego I ever had and be a part of a bigger solution. I know humans tend to overcomplicate things, but I think it’s as simple as just treating everyone you come across with kindness.” — Cemetery Sun

Cemetery Sun's momentum continues to grow, and they show no signs of stopping. While on the surface "There Is No Cure" might sound like another angsty song, it is a reminder that we are all connected and that kindness and understanding are the keys to creating a better world. It is a call for unity and a reminder that we must all work together to create a better future.
