The sold out Hollywood Palladium, was wall to wall with bodies that grew in mass as the night went on. With support, ‘Snail Mail’ guiding the crowd into a state of anticipation, the packed house was all adrenaline as the night grew on. Soon after, the sound system gave way to Whitney Houston’s, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and played in its entirety with the crowd singing along. The sold out crowd of bodies went from testing out their best Whitney impression to testing out their moshing skills when the voice of Brendan Yates ripped across the venue, “Now it’s a holiday”.
The upbeat, high energy combined with the physical dedication that the band exerts into their performances is just one of many that make this band a must see live. With an exhausting 18 song set list the night came to end under the rain of thousands of pieces of white confetti as fans shouted from the top of their lungs, “I want to thank you for letting me see myself”
