Latino singer-songwriter JACE Carrillo drops a stunning new single/video "Moviendo". Currently based in Montreal, JACE was born and raised in Venezuela. He found his passion for music at a young age and his curiosity led him to explore different genres. He became inspired by musicians like Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Luis Fonsi, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Khalid, Reik, and others. JACE moved to Canada to pursue his dream since life in Venezuela isn't easy (I can second that). He was featured on The Voice Canada, outperforming over 4000 singers. Since then, Jace has performed at many festivals and events in Montreal.

In 2021, JACE finally released his debut album self-titled "JACE". There are 14 tracks on this album, with some important musicians featured alongside, including DJ Oscar Olivo, Odreii, and What if Elephants. Co-produced with Señor Steve, Jacob Cardinal, Alyko, and Dany El Pana, it demonstrated JACE's unique blend of Latin rhythms and R&B. His popularity skyrocketed when he sold out his first concert and reached the semifinals at the 15th edition of the World Music Showcase "Syli d'Or" as part of the Nuits d'Afrique 2022 festival. That same year JACE won the Venezuelan Pepsi Music Awards 2022 as Best Electronic Music Video with his song "The Rhythm of Life", a song part of his debut album. With more than 850k streams on YouTube and Spotify, he is rising like the star he's meant to be.

JACE is currently working on his second album. Titled "Phenomena", working alongside Juried Sound Recording Grant from FACTOR Canada, and counting with the support of award winners and producers Luca The Producer, Alyko, Jacob Cardinal, and Felipe Tichauer from Red Traxx Mastering. The highly anticipated album mixes Latin and traditional American sounds. It comes after five R&B/Pop-infused singles titled "Desapareces", "Taking Off", "Lunática", "Equinox", and “Moviendo”. Speaking about the former. With "Moviendo," you can feel the romance of the tropics in a Latin Pop track. In the song, listeners are transported to a romantic date on a beach where two people fall in love. JACE's Caribbean roots are also evoked by this. Using the example of salt and water, the lyrics describe the chemistry between two lovers. In addition to Ric Hassani, Yera, and Omah Lay, this romantic vibe was influenced by AfroPop. An inner feeling of happiness and relaxation was created by this. Jace collaborated with Panamian artist Alyko. Their collaboration was further elevated by mixer Jacob Lacroix-Cardinal with a master final by Felipe Tichauer. The main concept behind the song is about two people enjoying each other's company, taking risks, and letting themselves go, just following the flow of things. It describes the experiences we have with our personal relationships. All the songs on the upcoming album are deeply rooted in Jace's own wisdom from love, dating, romancing, breakups, and accepting other people's choices.

In the art cover, JACE is engulfed by dark and ominous waters that engulf him. In the video, you can see him singing while swimming in deep blue still water. A diverse team of multicultural artists from Canada and Panama worked together to evolve all these ideas, delivering the concept behind "Phenomena". The music video is a journey of self-discovery that begins with a dream-like dive into the depths of his own subconsciousness. With the help of his friends, JACE is able to find himself and emerge from the darkness, embracing a new understanding of himself.

By embracing his friends' support, JACE redefines himself, allowing him to find a newfound appreciation and understanding of himself. With this, his music and story are now available on both Spotify and YouTube. This allows anyone to experience his journey in whichever format they prefer.
