TATIANA LIMA'S POP-METAL HYBRID "HOLLYWOOD" IS HERE

When you've got something inspired by Judas Priest, you know you gotta hit me up. Thankfully, this happened when Tatiana Lima was getting ready to release her newest pop-metal banger "Hollywood", which also takes after the sounds of Lady Gaga and Guns n' Roses... a curious combination that seems kinda genius when you think about it.

Based out of New Jersey at the moment, Tatiana Lima is a Brazilian-American singer, songwriter, and producer who has accurately been described as a "musical chameleon" thanks to her natural ease of blending in with every genre she treads. From Latin pop to punk and now pop-metal. She's only really comfortable when she's stunning audiences and pushing the envelope.

As far as this song goes, if you were looking for a catchy and edgy beat, poignantly accompanied by an even edgier riff, then look no further, you'll be hard-pressed to ever find anything that could possibly better encapsulate "pop-metal" than Lima's "Hollywood", a song that on one hand, denounces the voracious and ruthless underbelly of the entertainment industry that can often suck the life and the sanity out of its artists, while on the other hand, it serves as an anthem of self-realization against the odds and the many pitfalls that the business holds for nascent -and particularly female- artists.

"Whenever I am in a dark place, I say “I’m gonna make it” over and over again which became the hook of Hollywood. I am a big believer in words of affirmation and the law of attraction if you can speak it and believe it-it’s yours with hard work and persistence.

The music video, directed by Carl Timpone, explores the theme of transformation through the exploitation of an emerging artist. As the artist gains more attention and fame, she is increasingly objectified and pressured to conform to the expectations of the public. The video is a powerful commentary on the dark side of fame and the challenges that women face in the entertainment industry.

With this track, Lima displays her immense talent as an artist who is not afraid to push boundaries in the music world. Not only does the song have a great sound to it, but its message screams out on many levels to all women who strive for success in life and face challenges along the way.  Tatiana Lima's newest single "Hollywood" is one worth giving many listens to!
