SERINITY INTRODUCES US TO HER MUSICAL WORLD THROUGH HER FIRST SINGLE 'YOU USED ME'

We've said it many times. Heartbreak, sadness, and pain are some of the feelings that trigger the deepest and most heartfelt songs in music.

The case of 'You Used Me', by Sacramento singer-songwriter Serinity, is not an exception. In her own words, this is a song “based on an actual relationship I had in which I was blinded by the idea of being in love and missed all the signs that he maybe did not feel the same way. When we broke up and I found out how he really felt, I learned the hard way how easy it is to ignore the red flags when you love someone”, she said about the circumstance, emotions, and sensations that lead her to write this song.

The Serinity's voice and the musicalization of the song, manage to create the perfect atmosphere so that the listener can feel identity with the nostalgia and pain that the interpreter wants to convey.

And although it’s true that it is easy for us, as human beings, to connect with these painful emotions, when they are put into the voice of this young girl, they reach another level of depth.

With this -which is her first single- Serinity introduces us to her music based on a genuine story, with ballad rhythms, as well as a powerful and velvety voice that will surely be the elements that will build her connection with the audience.
