“ONE NIGHT”: A MUST IN YOUR PLAYLIST

This September the 3rd, LGBTQ artist from Ireland Dean Robert and the German DJ & Producer Jonas Hahn, released the single “One Night” co-written and co-produced by French artist Pierre Leck. The team effort was planned by Indie L.A-based label SoCal Records, and the result is a “MUST” for your playlist.
Actually the first time I heard the song I could place myself on almost any stage with a good celebratory atmosphere, singing out loud with friends while driving toward the beach, in a large open-air festival and of course a crowded nightclub. The key is the music.
This song really has the power to change your mood immediately. Having in mind that the whole of humanity has been through difficult moments of lockdown due to the pandemic, these 3:32 minutes of sound are about seizing the moment and making it last forever in one night.
The synth sounds at the beginning of the song have a lot of character and anticipate what is coming without ever overshadowing the voice of Dean Robert, who provides the necessary harmony to become the common thread of the whole song. Around the 30th second, the snapping and with the music generates a cool expectation, and just before the first minute of the song is over, the electronic download of sound comes which is pure joy and explosion. It was right at that moment when I wanted to sing out loud and dance.
Jonas Hahn
The debut of Jonas Hahn as a producer was with "Sleepless" a collaboration made with Dzeko. However, his story begun much before that because music always played an important role throughout his development. Growing up in Frankfurt, Germany, Jonas gets drawn into the electronic music club world and quickly makes his way up as a DJ in the underground scene. His last release was "Like Fire" which gathered over 85,000 streams on Spotify since July.
In the case of Robert Dean, he started his music career as the lead singer of the Irish pop band IKONI. More recently, Dean has been steadily releasing fiery solo singles, with the latest being "Find A sign" released in June of this year. The song written by Dean is a reminder that we should always go with our intuition and feelings. In his IG account, he said he lost that ability for few years and wrote this song to remind himself he still can make the best decisions for himself regardless of how hard things get.
There’s not much else to say. “One Night” should be in your playlist. That rush of joy and excitement is just one Play button away.
