The track was co-written by Gilas himself, along with acclaimed songwriters Bill DiLuigi and Allan Phillips, who also co-produced the release. And just when you think the stakes can’t get any higher, the song also features a vibrant pop remix produced by Michael Garvin, the hitmaker behind Jennifer Lopez’s “Waiting for Tonight.”
With this release, Gilas takes a sharp turn from his previous single, “Working With The Rain,” an introspective, emotionally charged track that debuted at #21 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart in February and climbed to #13 by the end of the month. That song was born from a life-altering accident that broke his neck and wrist, marking a turning point in both his life and artistry.
